I worked at a national funeral directors business. We had 'targets' and some, of the upper management usually, took them seriously and went round encouraging us all !
What everyone has missed is that Keith wouldn't be ticking the "Don't Know" option…….he just doesn't know which one to tick.
Probably my favourite bit ever. Would have taken some serious metal to act this scene without laughing!

So, realistic….appraisal interviews do seem a waste of time !
Had to fill in a staff appraisal for a member of my team that I had not seen for the past six months, but in the week that I had seen him he had made a indelible mark I wrote what he did and got him to sign it say that he agreed with what I said had some one from HR come in to my office in a fit of exasperation. "You can't say that" well I just did , "You can't write that about some one".Oh, well if you look you will see I have signed it and be for you say any thing the member of staff has read it and signed it."He's read it"?? Yes I said that's why he has signed it. "But but you can't say that about some one!! Do you want the truth or do you wish me to lie. "Well it's against company policy to lie of company forms". we went round and round in a "you can not say that well I have circle for about 2 hours…
