Are you working with G-Drive Mobile SSD, or with the G-Drive SSD PRO version? I see that in amazon lots of people complain on the PRO version because it constantly disconnects while editing. Even G-Technologies acknowledges that by saying: "We have determined that under certain conditions the drive may experience inadvertent disconnects when placed near strong 2.4 GHZ RF or wireless signals. While this can be mitigated by moving the drive away from such signals, we have implemented a fix."

Hey bro this video was seriously awesome! I am purchasing the new 2019 Macbook pro next week and I need a fast SSD that can edit 4K video on FCPX. The only thing is when I pulled up the Amazon page to buy it, there are a lot of reviews saying that this SSD keeps disconnecting and is not reliable. Have you experienced anything like this? There seem to be a lot of unhappy ppl who have regretted buying this SSD. Thank you.
